Our Chartres IFP Production site is searching for a large number of Maintenance Technicians to work on a permanent basis and we want to open these opportunities internally to anyone who wants to relocate and join the adventure.


Here are the 2 main opportunities we have:

  • Maintenance Technicians for Aseptic Production
  • Maintenance Technicians for Packaging in Finished Products


In order to ensure continuous production on site, the hours are 5 x 8 shifts, meaning that you work 5 to 6 days (2 mornings, 2 afternoons, 2 nights) and then with 3 / 4 days off consecutively.


The position
Here are typically what your main tasks would be:

  • Carry out preventive and curative maintenance activities:
  • Perform unscheduled and emergency maintenance work on lines/equipment in a timely manner;
  • Carry out diagnosis of shutdowns or malfunctions and ensure the interventions;
  • Prepare execution of intervention requests by ensuring the availability of all spare parts and by carrying out technical visits of the areas;
  • Follow detailed procedures to ensure safe and efficient execution of all maintenance tasks;
  • Support intervention requests to restore or maintain the functions, conditions of the equipment as soon as possible, and liaise with planning and/or the manager to know the priorities;
  • Follow work procedures/standards to ensure safe and efficient performance of all maintenance tasks;
  • Track line and system performance: challenge performance and translate performance against maintenance activities.
  • Carry out the traceability of all maintenance activities:
  • Record all activities in the computerized system dedicated to maintenance by following the standards;
  • Use visual management according to the evolution of activities;
  • Clearly document deviations, the duration, once the intervention request has been closed;
  • Provide feedback to the engineering team to update the intervention request procedure if necessary, for example, about specialized tools and equipment required.
  • Support and train operators to perform certain maintenance tasks according to their skills and certifications:
  • Train operators on maintenance activities using standards;
  • Provide feedback on activities using the standards provided for this purpose and participate in exchanges with the engineering/reliability teams in order to optimize maintenance processes;
  • Participate in failure mode analysis workshops and review maintenance task lists;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process using Lean tools and bring expertise to problem solving.

Qualifications:


Training / experience:

  • Preferably, you have an initial education in mechanics, electricity, industrial maintenance or have equivalent experience.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Knowledge of GMAO software.
As a person, you have a great team spirit and good communication skills.

You are rigorous and organized and know how to step back and take initiatives and you have a strong sense of responsibility.
