    About the role

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic renewable energy company. As Commission & Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensure the in-time delivery of the project and conduct commission & Installation. You will play a crucial role in our project delivery and also help out and collaborate during O&M stage when needed.

    Key responsibilities

    • Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for BESS projects.
    • Coordinate commissioning activities with construction, engineering, and OEM vendors.
    • Ensure commissioning milestones are delivered on schedule.
    • Perform functional, performance, and reliability tests on BESS equipment (PCS, BMS, EMS)
    • Validate integration of electrical, control, and communication systems.
    • Conduct grid compliance and performance verification tests

    Technical Documentation & Reporting

    • Prepare commissioning protocols, test reports, and punch lists.
    • Document non-conformities and track corrective actions to closure.
    • Identify, diagnose, and resolve commissioning-related technical issues.
    • Provide technical support to resolve integration challenges between subsystems.
    • Escalate critical issues to engineering/OEM teams when necessary

    Coordination

    • Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and client representatives.
    • Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers during testing and troubleshooting
    • Ensure system is ready for reliable commercial operation.

    Qualification and expertise

    • EHS knowledge and experience within electrical installation projects (RAMS / SHEQ /CDM).
    • Previous experience in an Electrical Contracting / BESS OEM
    • Desirable knowledge of electrical works such as renewables, Battery storage Electric Vehicle Charge Point, PV, Installations etc.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
    • Able to organize and priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent problem solving.
    • French driving license.
    • French Electrical certifications : B2-BC – H0
    • Language : Proficient in English and French.
