This position is part of the Industrial Direction of TotalEnergies Renewables International, a subsidiary dedicated to the development, construction and operation of large-scale ground-mounted renewable power plants and storage projects.

The team is based in Paris and works in conjunction with local teams (US, India, UAE, Japan, Chile, Africa, Europe, etc.).

TotalEnergies targets 35 GW of renewable generation capacity in 2025 and will continue to expand its business to become a leading international player in renewable energies with a target of 100 GW by 2030 based on its renewable network localized in more than 65 countries.

This position deals with solar, storage and onshore wind projects. The unit size of the solar projects developed is generally between 100 MW and 1000 MW. Some projects will have a high level of hybridization, whether storage and soon hydrogen.

As a Claim Advisor, your missions are:

Advise on potential claim situations using preventive awareness in execution stage
Broadcast feedback on lessons learned from existing and past claims,
Support local execution teams during execution and provide guidance in identifying potential claims at early stage.
Analyse and review existing claims: provide expertise support to projects for existing claims and corresponding resolution (contracts execution phase / close out phase)
Review and structure the resolution of disputed change orders / potential litigation as prepared in hubs:
Implementing the defined claim management roadmap,
Defining the method & tools related to claims and disputes management in liaison with the legal department.
Manage further claim management activities for the business line
Provide similar support with regards to O&M contractors, equipment suppliers, technical advisors and owner's engineers
Develop, update and improve claim management processes, procedures and tools
Develop and manage KPIs and continuous improvement activities

Graduate Degree in Legal and/or Engineering and/or Procurement

Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably significant experiences in Renewables Projects (as Solar PV
Wind
Storage
Hydro (either on EPC or on IPP side), and other type of Power Plant Generation (e.g. CCGT)
Hybrid Plant is a plus
Excellent contract understanding and knowledge including tendering, execution and close out phases.
Strong understanding of legal civil and common law system.
Experience working in multicultural / multisite environment, and in a wide transverse / crossfunctional mode
Mastering of all aspects of the project: planning, time impact, quantum, costs, risk management, project management, legal and technical requirements, local requirements.
Significant experience with global EPC Contractors (European, US, Indian, Chinese), in terms of Claim & Contract management
Good knowledge in MS Office,
High level of English proficiency. (French and/or Spanish and/or Chinese as a plus)
