Your mission_

Lighting and Signaling systems and products become more and more complex, including for sure regulated functions but also welcome, goodbye functions scenario, advanced lighting functions like Adaptive Driving Bending System, Advanced Front Lighting System.

New functions are also coming like communication V2P (Vehicle to Pedestrian) with information displayed on the vehicle surface and also with road projection.

Thanks to EV vehicle technology, the front central area of the car can be used now to display more information and get an illuminated logo.

All those new technical new solutions have to be validated with an automated functional test bench.

Within Product Group VLS Validation Engineering department in order to ease Test bench test sequence implementation with respect to technical content to monitor, Valeo wants to investigate and roll out new test bench generation based on AI and Machine Learning solutions with Real Time processing

Testbench would consist of a high resolution camera and powerful computer on which are hosted AI-ML algorithms.

Data storage constraints and cloud computing (post processing) can be investigated also.

Your goals as an Intern:
Perform a survey and an analysis of the suitable AI and ML tools based on Opensource solutions- Select the right algorithms solutions- Define test bench specification- Define test bench architecture (HW, SW, Data management)- Implement technical design solution- Implement an validate test bench Proof of Concept (PoC) that will be industrialize later on within Valeo
