Today, Symbio is recruiting a
Senior MEA Designer.


In the
R&I department and more specifically in the
High Value Material (HVM) Team, you will develop the
Membrane Assembly Electrode (MEA) for the Symbio PEMFC.


The missions:


  • Lead the
    selection of innovative components for the development of new MEAs in project mode, meeting specifications that combine performance, durability and cost objectives.
  • Carry out the
    validation of the performance and durability of the MEAs developed in different formats
  • Support
    product & process development from lab scale to pilot scale to ensure smooth industrialisation : ink formulation & mixing, coating & drying.

Validate the sourcing and qualification of components used in the development of the MEA

  • Ensure a
    bestinclass survey (literature, patent) of the new developments in the field electrocatalyst.
  • Develop collaborations with
    material suppliers and
    academic partners

Qualifications and skills :

Who you are:

  • You have a significant experience and solid knowledge in materials for fuel cells such as PEMFC or PEMWE (Water Electrolysis) and systems, materials, processes, hydrogen technologies and fuel cell ecosystem (academic and suppliers), and more specifically on electrocatalyst, is mandatory
  • You can assimilate feedback and formulate a technical and scientific understanding.
  • You will be able to analyze and propose solutions integrating industrial constraints.
  • You are pedagogical, creative, projectoriented and you like teamwork. Your experience and your professionnal networking allow you to have a mentor position
