About the role
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting market opportunities, including go-to market strategy, as well as driving customer immersion, customer requirements, and overall product strategy, roadmap, and vision.
Your primary duties include:
- Create bold visions and strategies for IoT products, identifying forwardthinking opportunities
- Establish and lead cases for change, visions, strategies, business models, build product roadmaps
- Build and enhance important internal and external relationships
- Define strategic opportunities for largescale product partnerships/alliances with external/internal parties/vendors
- Develops gotomarket strategies to take products from ideation to scale
- Ability to travel up to 20% on an as needed basis
Required qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and spoken English
- 5+ years proven Project Management experience managing software and/or hardware engineering projects; Team management experience.
- 5+ years experience with leadership and direction of colocated, remote, and nearshore/offshore teams
- Knowledge of IoT, including sensors, connectivity, cloud, analytics, and user interfaces
- Experience with Lean, Agile, iterative development, SAFe
- Demonstrated experience in estimation and WBS development
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in transportation & logistics is a plus (TMS, WMS, SMS, AMS, FMS)
- Project management certification (PMI)
