As an oil, gas and new energy industry, our ambition is to be the supplier of choice for geothermal and carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects global.

This role is an opportunity to continue to build on our strong position in the geothermal industry to further grow the business and our unique opportunity to capture a large market share in the emerging CCS market.


The role of the
Global Marketing Manager New Energies will be instrumental in setting and implementing the global go-to-market strategy for Geothermal and CCS, to contribute to the launch of new products and services and help transform our business portfolio.

Success of this development will rely on solid understanding of customer needs, in these fast growing and evolving markets.

The role will manage market analysis, identify, and select the right target customers and stakeholders, to understand their needs, expectations and value drivers, and to develop the value proposition and promotional strategy of our offering accordingly.


The Global Marketing Manager New energies will be fully embedded in the New Energies ecosystem, leveraging various sources, methodologies, and contacts with customers.

This role will also have a strong link into the R&D, business development, and commercial teams globally to ensure good connection between market analysis, product development and promotional plans.


Main responsibilities
This role has a global reach and the main marketing activities are:

  • Analyse the geothermal and CCS market, including, market dynamics, main targeted customers and stakeholders, existing solutions, and competitors
  • Develop intimate understanding of the needs, expectations and perceived value of our solutions for our present and targeted customers (e.g. IOCs, NOCs, industrial players, EPCs and geothermal developers) to feed the development of our offering of products and services.
  • Contribute to build and formalize our value proposition.
  • Work together with our communication teams to support the building of our marketing strategy, including communication and all promotional initiatives.

Requirements:


Your profile:

  • A degree in marketing with a desire to work in the field of Energy Transition
  • Experience in strategic marketing
  • A solid experience in market analysis, value proposition building and/or launch of new products within an industrial sector, ideally within the energy industry
  • The ability to quickly grasp complex technical solutions
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build new business
  • Experience in customer insight research in a B2B context
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills with a good level of emotional intelligence and an ability to thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment
  • A strong, collaborative mindset with confidence and integrity, who is entrepreneurial, ethical, and extremely proactive

Desirable:

  • Fluent in French & english
  • Experience in Energy Transition, and specifically geothermal and CCS
  • Strong network in the energy industry pertinent to geothermal and CCS

The team


You would be part of a dynamic and agile team focused on growing our business in the Energy transition space and you would report to the SVP Energy Transition New Energies department.

This team is a growing team within our company that has high visibility from management and stakeholders.


Further details


This role is based in Paris area and might require travelling globally to work with technical and business development teams and attend events in the two sectors.
