Scope of work:

Business Development

Define the strategy and monitor the development plan for the Moroccan market
Monitor the market & sector insights, competitor actions, new market trends to identify business opportunities
Coordinate the development and implementation of hydrogen plants in Morocco
Lead and coordinate the tender submissions for projects developed by the team
Coordinate the negotiation of long term offtake
Identify suitable locations for the development of HDF's hydrogen plants
Manage the acquisition of green/brown field with land owners and municipalities
Be the contact person for authorities, administration, politics and local stakeholders on site
Coordinate the internal departments (technical, legal, finance, ) to optimise the development of the projects
Regular reporting on your projects to the management

Lobbying activities

Represent HDF in Morocco and become the main contact point with authorities
Contribute to HDF reputation and grow solid relationships with key stakeholders including government, trade associations and other authorities
Attend key sector events and trade exhibitions to expand HDF's visibility in the market

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of the Moroccan regulatory framework and of the energy sector (gas, power and/or hydrogen)
Several years of professional experience in project development in the energy sector
Selfmotivation combined with excellent organizational as well as good relationship and negotiation skills
Resilience and keen to support long term project development (25 years)
Willingness to travel locally in Morocco and to the headquarters in Bordeaux Fluency in Arabic, French and English (required) with excellent written and oral communication skills to successfully interact with customers, management and the rest of the team.
