Who we are?:


We are an agile team with complementary skills developing our product from system design, software implementation and calibration to verification of our features in the end products.

We all share the same passion for technology and engineering.

Our scope is the complete powertrain:

  • We develop embedded system functions for propulsion and gearbox control. The main features delivered are about drivability and energy efficiency for truck, bus and machine brands within the Volvo Group.
  • We are also in charge of optimizing the complete powertrain considering conventional as well as hybrid and fully electrified powertrain.

_Here, we develop the next generation of powertrain:
eAxle, 48V Mild hybrid,_

Last but not the least, we work in a close relationship with our Swedish, Brazilian, US and Indian colleagues.

What will you do?:

In all phases of the product life: from Advanced Engineering, Industrial development to Maintenance, you will:


  • Act as a Performance & Calibration Engineer:
  • Calibrate strategies considering the best energy economy vs drivability balance for
  • Propulsion Control: Vehicle Speed Control, Acceleration Limiter, Road Speed Limiter,....
  • Transmission Control: Gearshifting, gearselection, lubrication,...
  • Perform test on vehicles to get confidence in your calibration.
  • Troubleshoot of our solution in test cells and vehicle.
  • Use simulation as much as you can for precalibration.

Act as a Function Owner for a set of our functions:

  • You are the product owner for your functions
  • Identify improvement for your functions and make it happen.

Your profile?:

-
Educational background: Mechatronics, or Physics, or Electronics, or Combustion Engine or Mechanical engineering.

Technical skills:


  • SW strategy calibration.
  • Vehicle dynamics knowledge.
  • Vehicle/Powertrain Control functions knowledge is a plus (Cruise Ctrl, Acceleration Limiter, Stop & Start, Torque distribution, Pedal management, Gearbox control)

Experience: More than 5 years of experience in the automotive.

Soft skills:


  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Open minded and quick learner.
  • C driving license is a must. CE is a plus.
