The Châtellerault site is part of the Visibility Systems Centre (VIS).

It develops high-performance, innovative lighting and wiping systems that support the driver and passengers in all weathers, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle.

We are looking for a
Site Purchasing Manager M/F for the Châtellerault site.

Your responsibilities:

Be a member of the site management committee
Manage the purchasing team, ensure staff availability and develop skills in line with the region's Business Group organisation.
Lead project procurement to achieve project procurement performance indicators and liaise systematically with RBGPD and PG/PL for the platform's overall procurement strategy.
Defines and implements site procurement performance in line with budget for technical and supply material productivities and reservoirs.
Directs materials productivities in front of the site MSC.
Rely on the raw materials organisation (Segment Leaders) to support the site's negotiation objectives and ensure that the specific needs of the sites are covered by the raw materials strategy.
Ensure the implementation of WW PG/PL standards in the site(s).
Manage the site budget process in collaboration with the RBGPD/PDPO.
Lead the supplier relations role as KAP, where not covered by Group Commodity.
Reduce the site's exposure to risks linked to the supplier base
Ensure coverage of logistics protocols for all parts purchased.
Ensuring strict monitoring and compliance of suppliers' operational data (pricing, load back, disputes)
Primary interface in the event of a supplier crisis (quality, delivery, commercial)

About you...

You have a 5year degree in purchasing
You have at least 7 years' experience in industrial purchasing
You have significant management experience
You have knowledge of the automotive industry
You have knowledge of cutting and plastic injection
You will have good interpersonal skills, be highly adaptable and demonstrate real managerial and organisational skills, as well as being rigorous.
You speak fluent English.
