The
Technology and Industrial Performance (TIP) Department as a central team in charge of Industrial Performance roadmap, standards and benchmarking, R&D programs (Products and Process) for Construction, Strategic Investments, Capacity Allocation among countries and Excellence Programs, is looking for a
H&S Support Manager to support countries in managing plant's specific risks related to Gypsum, Insulation and Mortars businesses.

Reporting to the Insulation Plant Support Director, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Consolidate information about HS events relative to GIM specific products and processes (ie: incidents, SIP, EvE,)
  • Analyze and share information related to GIM context, as a complement to exchanges organized within countries
  • Share "best" practices, distribute and promote these practices in countries
  • Ensure the shared library (events, reports, warning, standards) on intranet is updated
  • Support the integration of HS aspects for new production lines and significant investments
  • Support sites, following the needs of countries, for topics related to products and processes, in coordination with country EHS
  • Support central purchasing teams on specific items which are sensitive from H&S point of view.

Safety:


  • Analyze incidents, identify specific risks related to GIM businesses and raise the awareness of these risks; share the "best" practices; write specific safety warning when needed.
  • In coordination with engineering teams:
  • Keep GIM specific safety standards up to date, in particular for standardized amenities
  • Support teams for updating safety procedure for process and specific amenities (ovens, mixers, etc.)
  • Support sites for the analysis of the safety audits achieved in the targeted countries.

Industrial Health and Hygiene:
In coordination with GIM engineering, research & development and sustainable development teams, SG Group EHS, you will have to:

  • Edit and keep up to date industrial hygiene guides and standards for the risks related to the different businesses
  • Dust guide by business
  • Noise guide by business
  • Ergonomy guide by business
  • Insulation / Borate Guide
  • Insulation / process water guide
  • Insulation and Gypsum Guide / Crystalline Silica
  • Site support (on demand) for the implementation of these guides, sharing of good practices

Note:
the organization of EHS trainings is not part of the perimeter.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master or Engineering School degree in EHS or equivalent obtained thanks to specific trainings focused on EHS
  • A minimum of 5 years in operational management with a significant part on EHS
  • Multicultural working experience
  • Change management skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, proactive
  • Sustainability interest
  • Knowledge of SG EHS management system (SMAT, risk assessment, WCM H&S pillar)
