Role Overview

We Are Looking For

Solvay Dombasle is a major industrial player in our local industry, which has been reinventing itself for more than 150 years in the service of its customers, and which is committed to preserving natural resources and actively contributing to the challenges of a sustainable future. The transmission of knowhow and our fundamental values contributes to ensuring these transformations by guaranteeing the safety of our people and the quality of our products.
The site is home to a Research and Innovation Center which, for more than 60 years, has been making its skills available to the entire group for the improvement and reliability of processes and which is continually investing in innovative approaches. We are searching for this research and innovation center a Chemist Researcher, reporting to the Head of the R&I Center.

We Count On You For

Build Roadmap related to projects
Participate actively to the execution of the R&I strategy by bringing expertise, technical support and agile/openminded approach
Identify gaps, levers, challenges and solutions to overcome them to effectively achieve the targets of the projects
Lead a crossfunctional team involving laboratory, pilot and plant activities
Communicate on the studies in a coherent and meaningful way
Coordinate projects between multiple research sites of the GBU

You Will Bring

Experience in the field of electrochemistry and membrans with skills in Chemistry and Process
Master or PhD degree
Experience with pilot plant installations or manufacturing plants is a plus
An international experience or profile is an advantage
Strong result and customer oriented
Good skills of written synthesis : Technical reports, IP support
Agile and open mindset
Mobility for traveling
Good communication skills
Good English and French language skills
