- Lead a team of junior and senior engineers, fostering their growth and development through strong leadership and delegation.
- Leverage your expertise in medical device design and development to spearhead the Gen 2 development process, incorporating multiple feature improvements.
- Guide the team in navigating clinical development requirements, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and testing protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects under pressure.
- 5+ years experience in Class III medical device development.
- A successful track record of leading and empowering engineering teams.
- Demonstrated experience taking a disruptive technology from early stages to first-in-human trials. (a plus)
- Familiarity with implantable devices or transcatheter therapies.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on overseeing Gen 2 development of an existing implantable product line.
- Excellent communication skills in both English, French speaking is ideal but not mandatory
- A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a genuine enthusiasm for the project.
- The ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with regulatory processes and documentation.
