Description

Everything we do is for our customers, and we're currently serving over 12,000+ ecommerce merchants, including : Steve Madden, Timbuk2, Decathlon, and Sports Illustrated.

They love us for our innovative product, our focus on their ecommerce needs, and, of course, our lightning-fast customer service response time.

We raised $25 million in our Series B round in December 2020 and $30 million in our Series C round in 2022.

We more than doubled in size in every meaningful way:
annual recurring revenue, the size of our customer base, and the size of our Gorgias team, for starters.

We're still growing fast and looking for new teammates who want to grow with us.

About the Team:

The In-App Analytics squad is responsible for building our in-product analytics experience.

We are at the forefront of events-driven architecture here at Gorgias, and we are building an internal platform for all the product teams to extend their offering with user-facing reporting and analytics features.

Our team includes data, backend, and frontend engineers so that we can provide the Gorgias engineering teams with an end-to-end platform experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Build reusable Analytics components (e.g., Charts, filters) using TypeScript, React, and ReactJS.
  • Together with the Product team, you will define the optimal visualizations and UX for core metrics related to Tickets, Agents, and Customers, enhancing merchant support capabilities.
  • You will guide and support other teams in adopting our In-App Analytics platform by helping in understanding and: implementation of their use cases.
  • Produce artifacts like documentation, UI-Kit, and Storybook to facilitate team onboarding.
  • Identify and integrate common patterns across teams into the platform, continually improving engineering productivity in Data & Analytics.
  • You will grow through our Frontend Chapter initiatives and the mentorship from our senior engineer.
  • If you heard of TypScript, we will happily introduce you to the world of type inference and safety.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of React experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • You possess a solid grasp of the frontend stack and its adjacent layers, with a moderate to deep understanding of CDN, Cache, Webpack, and CI/CD.
  • When it comes to coding, you adhere to good practices such as SOLID principles, abstraction/composition, and React/Redux best practices, making informed decisions on when to deviate for optimal outcomes.
  • Your experience extends to crafting both visually pleasing and highly functional user interfaces, leveraging modern CSS techniques and incorporating the latest UX design practices with a keen eye for visual details.
  • Your insights into backend API design are invaluable; you're adept at collaborating with the BE team to strike a balance that optimally serves frontend needs while respecting constraints on both ends.
  • Optionally, you may also have familiarity with tools like reactquery, async state management libraries, and SWR, further enhancing your skill set and versatility.
