**Job Description**:
Our future** **Apparel Design Manager W/M** will lead a small team and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to drive the success of the design process. The design manager will be responsible for implementing design strategies to ensure our product lines are innovative, relevant and delivered on time.

**MAIN **RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Steer Design Activity
- Lead and participate in working groups to develop design concepts for product lines
- Draft design briefs and effectively communicate ideas to the team
- Advocate for and defend the creative vision of the teams
- Submit sketches and drawings to development teams within specified deadlines
- Track the progress of projects and ensuring adherence to timelines
- Travel to factories to finalize and develop design concepts

2. Project Management
- Organize and monitor projects to ensure efficient workflow and workload management within the design team
- Participate in product evaluation and testing processes
- Prepare and actively participate in validation committees
- Ensure adherence to design processes and standards
- Develop and manage the budget for the design activity

3. Innovation / Benchmarking
- Conduct trend studies and staying informed about industry innovations
- Monitor competitors and market trends
- Seek new processes and technologies in various industries
- Maintain a strong understanding of the market while ensuring technological advancements are integrated into our products

**You will work closely with the following departments**: R&D, Colour & Graphics, product quality and evaluation teams, design teams, marketing teams, merchandising teams, development teams, brand teams.
