Description and Requirements

This role is critical in the success of the EMEA Desktop workstation hypergrowth.

Teaming will be essential with the 16 EMEA countries as well as centralized marketing team, sales ops team and finance team.


What would be in the scope of Your work:

Opportunity identification:

analysis of the external market and end user segments to define opportunities for Lenovo to growth and beat competition including e.g.

Lenovo's current market share position, competitor positioning, Lenovo's price band coverage vs. competitors, and price band opportunities

Product:
work with WW Product team to ensure EMEA requirements are being taken into account. Communicate and present your portfolio and product updates to local 4P and Solution Technologist teams. Ensure healthy forecast accuracy. Configuration of appropriate model for each targeted price cell. Competitive positioning and pricing. Modeling of the portfolio to meet the financial/growth objectives. Interlock the forecast for supply and opportunities. Closely working with the channel to develop the plan. Inventory transition plan. Work with marketing to develop the marketing plan.

Price:
ensure competitive price points to achieve financial objectives and sales in and sales out targets

Place:

ensure sufficient product availability at targeted distributors in cooperation with Lenovo's Distri Account Managers - to realize forecasted sales out tracks and targeted 'Weeks-of-Inventory'.

Meet regular with key channel partners to capture market dynamics.

Promotions:
decide EMEA promotional activities to stimulate transactional sales out. Align with local 4P organization to prioritize sales focus and related sales activities.

Ambassador:
act as ambassador of Lenovo's Transactional product portfolio both to sales organization as channel partners:
position products / price/placement according to Lenovo's product strategy
communicate effectively product announcements
work with the channel team on deployment and execution of product training to the channel
