Commodities Product Management Specialist
Team and context

You will become a part of the Front Office Trading Product Development Domain (PDD) which is at heart of MX.3 software evolution, where you will integrate the Financial Engineering team.

Our multi-cultural team designs, validates and delivers Murex Advanced Analytics (MACS) which is a combination of rich catalogue of derivative products covering all asset classes, a large set of models for evaluation and risk management of derivatives.

We work closely with the quant development and integration teams to enhance our products and models. We provide our quantitative expertise and collaborate with FO Trading PDD teams like EQD, Non-Linear Rates, FXD, COM, etc. to build trading solutions. Similarly, we assist Client Services and regional offices across the globe to provide cutting edge solutions to our clients.
Your missions/What you'll do

Support

As product experts, the team regularly receives support requests from the Client Services teams in charge of our customers.

This brings a lot of experience, as this enables to get familiar with the business and the platform, while being useful to customer teams, as soon as you arrive at Murex.

Execution of our product evolution

As a member of an agile team within an Agile Release Train, based on Agile and SAFe practices, you will contribute to the execution of our product vision, in addition to corrective and evolutive maintenance

This includes:

Help manage the team backlog
Define user stories with acceptance criteria and tests to meet internal and customer requirements
Accept and validate delivered user stories
Contribute to the planning of Program Increments and sprints during plannings
Collaborate with developers and quality control
Document and demo delivered features
Communicate feature status to related stakeholders
Ensure timely and quality delivery of features
Contribute to the improvement of execution in the team in retrospectives
Business needs analysis

Our MX.3 platform constantly evolves, including the Commodities module.

The commodities markets is evolving fast and tackles a wide variety of business lines such as Base metals, Precious metals, Power and Gas, Agri, Oil and Carbon Trading.

We must therefore analyze the needs expressed by customers, in order to provide these evolutions in future releases

This includes:

Gathering business needs from various internal customers
Summary of needs
Status of platform functionalities on the matter
Prioritization of needs
Specification of the expected behavior on the complete value chain (pricing, booking, sensitivities and realtime portfolio management, trade lifecycle...)
Define a functional solution and specify it, before execution
