YOUR ROLE

The Global Account Manager (GAM) is responsible for developing the customer relationship at all levels to ensure sales growth in their area in line with budgeted targets.


  • Be the recognized business expert in its scope of responsibility for the customer concerned
  • Develop a commercial strategy relating to its scope of responsibility, submit it to the relevant BUs and Product Lines and implement the agreed action plans.
  • Ensure the commercial success of the selected global projects with its managers
  • Excellence in the management and coordination of account projects with internal departments (Markets, creation & portfolio, PMO, SCI, research, production, regulatory affairs, etc.)
  • Establish sales budget annually, track sales and profitability against targets and provide regular updates on sales forecast developments
  • Guarantee the quality of Symrise services in relation to the criteria for evaluating clients and implement appropriate improvement actions
  • Report to Global Account Director Nestlé
  • Global travelling up to 30% of the time, depending on needs.

ABOUT YOU

  • Team player, selfstarter, selfsufficient and selfstarter
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • High responsiveness (agile methods) and adaptability.
  • Curiosity
  • A level +5 in business or engineering school with a specialization in sales and/or marketing
  • At least 810 years of experience in the sale of specialty ingredients (preferred flavours) or industrial solutions (processing, packaging), with an international dimension
  • Exposure to relevant categories required: Coffee, Flavoured Waters, Dairy Products, Breakfast
  • First experience working with a global customer
