As they expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to reinforce their existing team. Whether it's creating a new data platform or facilitating the adoption of an innovative solution, this role is pivotal in their mission to leverage data effectively and drive business success.     THE ROLE

    As a Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, focusing on either creating a new data platform or facilitating the adoption of this platform within our local teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehouse solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Utilizing Python with Pyspark for efficient data manipulation and processing tasks.
  • Leveraging data ingestion tools such as ATL with Glue, Athena, Redshift, and DynamoDB to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
  • Implementing data orchestration workflows using Airflow (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with CDK, SageMaker, Lambda Functions, Lake Formation, and Kinesis (nice to have).
  • Proactively engaging with operations and business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, and providing data-driven solutions.
  • Championing best practices in data engineering and challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
  • Operating in a hybrid remote environment, collaborating effectively with team members across different locations. YOUR PROFILE
  • Demonstrated experience in data warehouse implementation, with a solid understanding of data modeling principles.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language, particularly with Pyspark for data manipulation tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with data ingestion tools such as ATL with Glue, Athena, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with Airflow for data orchestration workflows.
  • Knowledge of CDK, SageMaker, Lambda Functions, Lake Formation, and Kinesis.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and challenge the status quo.
  • Commercial mindset, with a focus on understanding business needs and translating them into action
