Finance Manager / Controller
Role and responsibilities:
- Pursue general accounting, payables, billing, collection, cost accounting, business analysis, financial reporting, tax reporting, etc.
- Analyze and accurately report current month's financial results to the corporate management in accordance with corporate format and time requirements
- Prepare monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts as directed by management.
- Enforce and track accuracy of physical inventory and reported results. Investigate and explain book to physical adjustments.
- Ensure administrating of payroll needs are done correctly under local laws and regulations.
- Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies. Resolve questions of GAAP and internal controls with management.
Must Have:
Languages
- English and French (speaking, writing, and reading)
- 23 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on cost accounting, taxes, employment, payroll and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a team environment
Good to Have:
- Experience with ERP system
- Experience with global organizations.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business administration
