Tax works closely with the Finance Division which houses our Tax Reporting and Compliance function, to ensure a One Tax approach across Macquarie globally.
  • As a result of business expansion in Europe, in this role you will be responsible for the group's tax operations in France and other jurisdictions in Continental Europe reporting to our Continental European Tax Director. Our major European markets of operation include but are not limited to Germany, France, Luxembourg, and Italy.
  • Your key responsibilities will include:

To be successful, you will have had extensive experience in large, complex, global organisations.

You will also have solid international tax technical knowledge together with a strong governance, control and assurance mindset across both tax advisory and tax reporting.

  • You will be a curious individual, always asking, "What's new," and "How can we do this better". You will be generous with your knowledge, time, and feedback; be bold, seeing challenges as opportunities that can be overcome as a team and have exceptional communication skills.
  • You will have tenacity, agility, and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fastpaced, output focused environment and the ability to initiate and lead conversations with different kind of internal and external stakeholder.
