Description:

AXA Group's Headquarters in Paris brings together the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates the various entities with the Group's strategy and is responsible for managing international projects. The headquarters gathers approximately 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities).

Within the AXA Group Communication, Brand and Sustainability Department, the AXA Research Fund is a scientific philanthropy initiative of the AXA Group that aims to support researchers in the areas of climate & environment, health, socio-economics & new tech.

Since 2008, the AXA Research Fund has supported almost 700 research projects led by researchers in over 300 universities in 38 countries. It supports human progress by funding research in key areas related to risk and helping inform public and private decision-making based on science.

Main activities include:

Institutional relations and selection process:

• Assist in facilitating interactions with supported researchers and academic partners
• Assist with the preparation, coordination, and logistics of the Scientific Board meeting
• Help identify potential topics for future call for projects and contribute to their development
• Support in managing the selection and application processes operations

Impact & Thought-Leadership dissemination:

• Produce notes on key research and societal topics related to health, climate & environment, socioeconomics.
• Collaborate closely with the Partnership Managers to conduct comprehensive impact studies to assess the effectiveness of the philanthropic activities
• Assist in creative comprehensive reports and presentations based on the impact measured
• Support in event organization, covering tasks such as developing agendas and content and ensuring alignment with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally
• Contribute to projects' launches and dissemination efforts, in coordination with the Fund's communication team.

You are currently doing a Master in Sustainable Development, Social Sciences, Innovation Management, Business Administration or in a related field.

The position requires the following:

• Intellectual curiosity and interest in cross-disciplinary research subjects such as social, economic, environmental and health issues as well as challenges related to new technologies;
• At ease in a multi-cultural working environment;
• Dynamic, autonomous, and proactive team player;
• Excellent command of English and French both written and oral;
• Strong project management skills with excellent organizational skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Advanced computer skills (PowerPoint and Excel);
• First long-term internship experience is a plus.
