Postdoctoral position in quantitative microbiology at ENS Paris


Scientific Project:

• At the single cell level, the successful applicant will study the spatial dynamics of membrane potential and its contribution to protein localisation (Collaboration with UCLA)
• At the population level, the successful applicant will use optogenetics to study ecological dynamics within microcolonies (Collaboration with Institut Curie)
• In the context of hostpathogen interactions, the successful applicant will study the fate of Listeria after entry in mamalian cells (Collaboration with IBENS and Institut Pasteur)

Required Qualifications:

• The successful applicant must have an MD, PhD, with expertise in either fluorescence microscopy, image analysis, data analysis and/or cell microbiology.
