General Description:
Financial Institutions and Financial Market business manager is taking in charge of developing and managing all financial institutions and financial markets related businesses which are attributed to treasury department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage to grow the client relationship and business opportunities with local financial institutions and sovereign clients in the French market and other authorized business areas.
- Execute Know Your Customer (KYC) and Due Diligence processes of the FI and FM clients.
- Apply, renew and manage the credit facility of the financial institutions and sovereign institutions, including but not limited to gathering and analyzing annual reports and other data to help support a credit decision.
- Develop and facilitate deposit business (EUR, RMB, USD etc.) with French financial institutions.
- Develop and facilitate crossborder trade finance related business, crossborder matchmaking and crossborder RMB business in the French market and other authorized business areas.
- Develop and facilitate the issuance, investment and postinvestment management of bonds and other transferrable securities, and provide services relating to such issuing, investing and postinvestment managing, including but not limited to EUR/RMB/USD/CNY denominated for CCB Group or its subsidiaries. Assist CCB Group or its subsidiaries to develop its (their) bond underwriting business and actively seek and refer institutional investors for the bonds underwritten by CCB Group or its subsidiaries.
- Develop, facilitate crossborder custodian service in French Market and other authorized business areas, including but not limited to promoting eligible channels (QFII /RQFII/QFLP/CIBM Direct and others) for foreign institutional investors to access to China Capital Market.
- Execute trading for account of customers in:
- Foreign exchange
- Financial futures and options
- Exchange and interest rate instruments
- Transferable securities
- Participate in manage the liquidity of the bank under rules set by CCB Europe.
- Participate in operating on the Money Market following instruction of Operation and Finance department.
- Participate in management of daily cash positions, liquidity, interest rate and currency risk of the branch.
- Actively maintain and develop a broad and detailed knowledge in respect of the financial market, products, processes and market awareness applicable to Financial Institution clients, generate routine market briefing and reports. Actively carry out industry research on financial subdivisions and regularly formulate industry research reports.
- Actively support CIB department to provide financial market solution for the corporate and investment banking clients to drive results.
- General administrative duties associated with client coverage including annual reviews, reporting, transaction documents negotiation, client relationship management tools and booked deals including validation by the business lines of the level of contribution.
- Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the local branch management and line management of EU headquarter.
Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge of banking industry activities
- At least Bachelor's degree in Finance & Banking or related specialization
- At least 3 years of experiences in a similar position in a commercial bank dealing with corporate and institutional clients / products, experience in Treasury related work will be a plus
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication and listening skills, ability to explain complex information clearly and simply, good sales and negotiation skills, drive, initiative, motivation, honest, trustworthy
- Ability to work in an international environment
