We are on the lookout for a Support engineer to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Saint-Paul-lez-Durance/ France in an on-site work position.

For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions, Fusion for Energy. Their mission and projects fall within the realm of sustainable energy.

Your role

  • Provision of ICT Service Desk first line support to endusers
  • Provision of user workplace support services: management of desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals, installation and configuration of software, and overall enduser support
  • Application support
  • Collaboration and provision of support to the daytoday operations of the ICT department
  • Provision of user support to other IT technologies F4E will setup during the execution of the contract

Who we think you are

  • Deep knowledge in the following technical areas: Microsoft Windows technologies, Hardware (desktops, laptops, printers), Microsoft 365 Cloud services
  • Configuration, administration and support of desktops, laptops, printers and other shared resources in a network environment
  • User administration, including aspects related to platform image creation, maintenance and updating, security and confidentiality
  • Ability to focus on priorities and organize work as well as to deliver on time to agreed standards
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken)
Nice to haves (not indispensable)

  • Good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
