- Within Corporate Innovation, Service and Growth Department, the Digital and Data Innovation Team oversees the development of new solutions leveraging on digital, analytics and AI technologies.
- To strengthen our cloud foundation team, we are looking for a
Cloud Architect.
- Function: Cloud Architect
- Country: France
- Location: Paris or Lyon
- Supervisor: Digital & Data Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
- Management: 2-4 externals consultants
- Purpose:
- Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Roadmap Definition and follow-up
- Identify and define Azure cloud services core roadmap to support Nexans business strategy and initiatives
- Animate and drive cloud touchpoint with internal stakeholders to manage initiatives based on team capacity
Cloud Solution Architecture
- Design and implement scalable and secure Azure cloud solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and maintain cloud solution architectures.
Cloud Implementation
- Design and implement Azure cloud solutions using Azure infrastructure services (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networking, and security).
- Regularly assess and report on the progress of initiatives against established roadmaps.
- Provide support during the implementation phase, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
Cloud Optimization and Management - Optimize Azure deployments to ensure costeffective and scalable solutions.
- Monitor and manage Azure cloud assets and resources.
- Develop automation scripts to streamline cloud infrastructure provisioning and maintenance tasks.
Cloud Security and Compliance
- Ensure that Azure cloud solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
- Implement security controls and policies to protect cloud workloads and assets.
- Stay uptodate with Azure security and compliance regulations and standards.
- Profile:
- You are:
- A highly experienced professional with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- An Azurecertified professional, with proven experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions.
- Passionate about cloud technologies and their potential to improve business operations.
- Fluent in English.
- You have:
- 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure services, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
- Experience with Azure Service Fabric, Kubernetes, and Docker containerization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Azure security and compliance processes and policies.
- Experience with automation scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
- It would be a plus if you have:
- Experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
- Knowledge of cloudbased data solutions such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with agile processes and methodologies.
