Finance Manager France (M/W):

Your mission


The Finance Manager will assist the Finance Director, International in establishing Legends' business in France and play a key role in preparing the company for the delivery of new business operations.


The role requires someone with the ability to run the day-to-day finance function in France, working effectively with internal stakeholders to implement best in class policies & procedures, and to leverage the support of external stakeholders to ensure the company adheres to local regulatory requirements.


A significant focus will be to partner with the Global Merchandise division during operational planning and delivery; this will involve business partnering the General Manager and Senior Management team in France, helping to implement a new EPOS and other merchandise systems, managing budgets, and leading an accounting function.


This is a new opportunity to be an integral part of the team tasked with building a global business' presence in France.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Establish and implement policies & procedures to operate a bestinclass finance function
  • Responsible for all accounting & compliance processes, through a combination of outsource vs advisory vs recruit vs "handson" accountability
  • Ensure a timely and accurate month end closing process, with delivery of management reporting and commentary
  • Play a pivotal role in system implementation in France, including implementation of a new EPOS solution (partnering with IT dept.) and the associated fiscal requirements
  • Build solid working relationships with business and department leaders, supporting the planning and operational delivery
  • Support the Finance Director during budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis workstreams
  • Ensure the business follows all statutory reporting and tax compliance processes, leveraging local professional services
  • Setup and manage outsourced professional services in France
  • Manage local banking relationships and cashflow
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance role
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required
  • Experience in EPOS systems and the associated fiscal requirements in France
  • Bilingual speaker in French and English
