Our client is a well-established international pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative solutions to meet the needs of patients worldwide. They are heavily investing in Research & Development initiatives and collaborating with a wide range of partners, from academic institutions to start-ups, as well as pharma and biotech companies, to address healthcare challenges.
A rewarding position is now available for a Pharmaceutical R&D Microbiology scientist to serve as the microbiology expert for new chemical and biological products in both sterile and non-sterile forms, as well as for various R&D projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sterility of a newly established drug production facility and overseeing or conducting necessary microbiology operations.

The ideal candidate should hold a Master's and/or PhD in Microbiology, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sterile environment within an industrial pharmaceutical setting, preferably in R&D. Proficiency in GMP regulations, particularly Annex 1, and prior experience analyzing both sterile and non-sterile products are required.
Occasional travel to partner laboratories in countries such as Germany and the US may be necessary, albeit not on a regular basis. Fluency in English is a must, while proficiency in French would be advantageous - the company offers French lessons for non-French speakers. Strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a proactive attitude, are essential for this role.
