MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for operational and project-based assignments.

Duties include but not limited to systems configuration, break-fix, updates, upgrades and day to day management of infrastructure-based hardware software and network environments.

Responsible for projects, incidents and request queues, On-Call duties, and system changes.

Report direct for this position is the Infrastructure Manager France

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Design, maintain, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
  • Create, maintain, and update all Network/systems documentation, processes, inventories, and tools.
  • Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, load balancers, switches, Wi-Fi
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
  • Arrange service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
  • Maintain knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
  • Experience of working to structured change control processes from raising to implementing.
  • Adhere to standard process and policy (change control).
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
  • Utilize strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills related to computer and software technical issues
  • Performs other duties as required.

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS

REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
  • 35 years of system and network engineer experience
  • System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus.
  • Experience with IT Systems Design, Deployment and Administration
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, troubleshoot reported errors.
  • Optimize and maintain backup and restore processes.
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices.

HARD SKILL

  • Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (including AD Connect) configuration and administration skills.
  • Configure routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge in managing Firewall.
  • Experience with leading network vendors providers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 technologies, including (but not limited to) Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and core Office Apps.
  • Experience in managing of VMware vCenter servers.
  • Experience with Veeam and Commvault Backup
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools
  • Experience of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
  • Strong knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager cloudbased services.
  • Some knowledge in setting up centralized monitoring and logging systems (Zabbix, Nagios, Solarwinds )
  • Experience in Ticketing systems
