The team is also responsible for deploying integration test platform in order to track and debug issues seen on the product, during lab and field testing.

Sequans SI-BB team is developping its own Modem test platform for 4G and 5G technologies for simuation and hardware, and in such context is offering 6-month internship position within the BB-SI team for final-year student.

Activity will consist on developing Debug and monitoring tool, working with our simulation and able to track logs coming from 5G device developped by Sequans


RESPONSIBILITIES
Taking knowledge of 4G debug monitoring tool developed by Sequans. Goal is to have similar tool for 5G (features, GUI, etc.)
Understanding how logs are managed (logs are based on lttng/ctf framework)
Provide design specification of 5G DM by taking into account how logs are implemented on our 5G product


Developing tools:

Tracking logs coming from UE (event logs)

Producing graph for evaluating features like signal quality, BER, etc in the same way from what has been done in 4G.

Tracking logs coming from network test framework developed by Sequans (Radio Access Network and core network logs) when 5G device is tested with our simulator.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Final-year student
Ability to understand and investigate Software issues. Ability of reading and understanding standards from 4G and 5G.
Knowledge in C and C++, Python. Debug monitoring tool needs to be developed in Python
Very good level in English
