In our Digital transformation strategy, the simulation has been identified as a key asset in our product development process.

The Simulation Center of Excellence will support this strategy on the different simulation tools (FEA, CFD, Optic, Electro-tech...) and the strategic projects as: HPC, Simulation Data Management and PIDO (Process Integration and Design Optimization).

Simulation domain is in charge to support Valeo's worldwide, 1500 users and large scope of simulation softwares (Ansys, Abaqus, Altair, Hexagon...).

His main mission is to manage technical architecture related topics in order to ensure:
Center Of Excellence Projects technical architecture consistency
Conduct Proof Of Concept and provide expertise to subdomain on new tech
Technical continuous improvement of existing architectures (all domains)
In charge of delivering some technical deliverables based on standards new technologies

General
Contribute to the federated technical Architecture design and deployment of its domain (Simulation)

More specifically:

Ensure the integrity, consistency of all Platforms
Guarantee the effective Run state of the Production Platforms
Follow-up the Commercial product On The Shelf (COTS) update roadmap. Drive the corresponding update strategy
Provide technical expertise to guide integrator and challenge proposed solutions
Ensure the integrity, consistency of the Center Of Excellence Group Platform
Ensure the scalability of the AWS based Central Production Platform
Ensure compliance with Valeo Standards
Ensure the compliance with Group security rules and guidelines
Guarantee the respect of System Interface principles
Realise technology watch and perform POC on new technologies /solution

Governance, meetings
Meetings with Business representatives and IT to understand the solution ecosystem roadmap
