Assignments for this position (Advanced Modeling intern) include:

Conduct research and development work using modeling tools in current and future fiber reinforced composite solutions.
Understand latest modeling tools and make improvements to current resources
Report writing + internal presentation (in English) on the delivery work

Selection Criteria

Actively pursuing a M.S. or engineering degree in Materials Science & Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; or related science/engineering field
Good level of knowledge in mechanics FRP composite.
Good level of knowledge with standard composite testing procedures (tensilecompressionflexural, fatigue) and composites manufacturing process is a plus (Infusion, SMC)
Experience in one of the following modeling/simulation techniques micromechanics, laminate design, Finite Element Analysis (Abaqus preferred), Micromechanics (Digimat) or process modeling (Moldex3D or Moldflow).
Experience with scripting languages (Matlab, Python.)
Team player and ability to work on multiple projects in multicultural environment in collaboration with colleagues and other teams
Accountable, reliable person and efficient in the work delivery
Good communication skills in English and French (written and oral)

Duration: 6-month internship.
