Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a
Logistics digital transformation supervisor (f/m) to join our Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) department based in Nantes, France.


The Nantes' PC&L department is in charge for:

  • Operational logistics and transport of elements to our customers
  • Planning and scheduling on all horizons of production (long term to execution)
  • Support for these 2 domains: Process Methods & Tools
  • Improvement or innovation projects relating to logistics and planning in line with the Airbus Atlantic and Airbus strategy, including digital transformation
As part of the Nantes' PC&L department, you will drive the definition and deployment of digital solutions for PC&L users in Nantes (planning, scheduling, logistics, warehouse workers) enabling the production units to achieve the rate rise in best conditions at the lower cost

Your challenges:

Coordinate a portfolio of digital projects and the associated global roadmap:

  • Collection and analysis of end-user needs,
  • Structure project portfolio and provide the PC&L digital roadmap to ensure consistency between deployments of central and local solutions in coordination with IT, PC&L process methods & tools, the "Digital Transformation Office" organization, and the "Industry of the Future" projects
  • Budget & resources preparation, and allocation
  • Coordination and progress of projects and regular communication with customers
  • Representation of PC&L end users in the digital transformation and IT community by participating in different networks (data analyst, IoT, digital network, Airbus Atlantic, etc.)
  • Propose innovative solutions to the community after participation in benchmarks, network exchanges, monitoring
Lead the deployment of Airbus digital tools with a strong digital connotation or impact:

  • Analysis of gaps in terms of functionalities (in tandem with a business specialist)
  • Focal point to support data analysis and background architecture
  • Verification & validation
Product Owner as part of the development of local business tools through the following activities:

  • Identification and definition of user needs,
  • Participation in the definition of technical specifications,
  • Monitoring of development (including monitoring of some subcontracted activities)
  • UAT and Technical Validation
  • In this role, you work in tandem with a business specialist in order to guarantee the consistency of the request versus business objectives and expectations.

PC&L digit:

operational support & coach:

  • Contribute to the digital transformation of the factory by supporting the PC&L community in its digital skills development

Your boarding pass:


  • Project management (with knowledge of Agile method), change management
  • Good knowledge of the evolution of digital technologies (ex: analytics, Data Science, IA, IoT etc)
  • Notions of development and infrastructure
  • Autonomous, force of proposal
  • Customer orientation (understanding of the need, reformulation...)
  • Ability to simplify and synthetize, pedagogy, good communication
  • Languages: English (advanced level) French (negotiation level)

Skills that could help you:


  • Good knowledge of the PC&L world (culture and processes) and associated information systems (SAP)
  • Good understanding of the constraints and needs of the shopfloor
