Within ALSTOM's IS&T organisation, the position of DevOps Expert is a part of the Business Partnering team dedicated to the Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) product line.

Main responsibilities of the role are:

Design and build solutions to technical challenges, resilience, and scalability of the solution while continuously improving DevOps engineering practices
Implement DevOps Development Processes to include version control strategy; Integrating source control; Build infrastructure; Code flow; DevOps strategy, etc.
Support quality development practices and pursue new and better ways to build and deploy solution.
Write and maintain clear documentation about system architecture, Release and Implementation plans, and develop and maintain internal documentation
Participate in the management of the portfolio of platforms required to drive a modern continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline
Leverage software delivery measures and data to drive continuous improvement
Be able to design and architect maintainable and scalable automation solutions
Stay side by side of industry trends and best practices and proactive proposing new DevOps technologies
Drive our internal team to succeess by way of being DevOps Champion

PROFILE & Required Skills:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering / information technologies
Expert in automated deployment tools such as Terraform.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to creatively solve problems in a fastpaced Agile environment
Technical experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining DevOps tools, such as Gitl). Experience building solutions that are secure and scalableExpert de Agile/Scrum.
Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum and waterfall technologies
Expert in automated deployment tools such as Terraform.
Expert of the best practices of the DevOps methodology
Team player with capacity to communicate, work and share knowledge and best practices in transverse, multicultural ecosystem
