OVERVIEW:


The
Package Manager - Landfall, Onshore, & Commissioning on a project has responsibility for the delivery of their package within the targets of SURF scope's HSE, Quality (technical integrity), Cost, and Schedule.

She/He will have good understanding of E-P-C-I spectrum of SURF delivery and inter-relationship of the functions delivering the EPCI Scope from Subsea7 and consortium in general.


The Package Manager is responsible to:

  • EPC delivery of landfall for shore approach and onshore rigid pipeline system and soft product system (umbilical controls, electrical and MEG), including pre-commissioning and final documentation/project close out
  • Vast experience in shore approach execution for pipeline and umbilical system with experience in HDD will be of benefit
  • Experience in offshore trenching and seabed remediation scope and methodology
  • Good understanding of the SURF and onshore processing facility interfaces and battery limit
  • Experience in managing the transition of precommissioning of specific subpackage (SURF) and coordinating with the Consortium scope's leaders (SURF-SPSOPF) to plan and execute the commissioning and Ready for Start-Up scope of the overall project development
  • Closely coordinate and interface with other Functions in the Project as well as the SURF Package Management of Subsea scope to ensure RACI is aligned and communicated to team
  • Demonstrate the value of Subsea7 (safety, integrity, sustainability, performance, collaboration, innovation) in delivering the work
  • Collaboratively working with Client and Partners and be ready to constructively challenge.
  • Ensure successful delivery of the project scope, throughout the project life cycle. This encompasses the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation phases.
  • Ensure all relevant lessons learned are captured and communicated to the project, and performed in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promote continuous improvement, safety, integrity, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with the S7/consortium BMS processes and QHSE objectives.
  • Support the preparation of Execution Plan and a Convergence Plan, working with Project Planner. Undertake regular progress reviews with project functions including engineering teams, SCM, suppliers, logistic, operations and fabricator. Highlight areas of concerns to Project Manager.
  • Represent the project and Subsea7 in a leadership capacity and provides knowledge of the assigned package, in meetings with; project partners, clients, subcontractors and 3rd parties.
  • Identify and ensure management of changes in conjunction with Interface Lead. Prepare and followup project changes and variation orders through Onshore Technical Change process and contract variation procedures, supporting Contracts team. Familiarity with project contract and budget is essential.
  • Coordinate and follow up the execution of Engineering work and interface with Supply Chain activities, Fabrication work and Operations. Highlight to respective Project Function Managers any areas of concern.
  • Take ownership and manage the risks and schedule associated to their work package scope of work. Organize readiness plan review of the respective Scope of Work
  • Ensure all interface aspects are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner in sufficient detail to ensure smooth progress of the work and link with the Interface Lead. Ensure internal discipline and crossfunctional alignment.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, development of CTRs, RACI matrix, interfaces, MDRs, action tracking, PPM at suppliers and audits. Support and in some instances lead; FAT, SIT, readiness reviews and offshore operations.
  • Ensure logistic and operational planning are aligned with project execution plan and does not create risk to schedule. Ensure material tracking process is utilised.
  • Proactive planning with the designated team for the delivery of Final Documentation of the Project
  • Define with the Project Manager the limits of their respective Package and associated HSE, Quality and Schedule Targets.
