We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team in Packaging Materials. Would you like to lead, develop, and operationally run local sourcing operations to meet business requirements? Do you enjoy contributing to other people's development? Do you also have experience in purchasing and development of sourcing plans?

Key tasks:

Lead and coach your own team to facilitate learning and development, i.e.- Create positive and effective work environment leading to high engagement- Challenge current ways of working, suggest changes and continually improve processes and methods.

- Define individual goals, conduct performance talks, and make individual development in dialogue with employees

Manage performance of own functional budget as well as own targets, i.e.- Develop and implement target breakdown linked to business as well as individual performance plans- Make and keep budget and forecasts for own unit- Report

KPI:
s according to performance management process

Run sourcing to assigned targets and business needs, i.e.- Meet purchase requests from business unit in timely and professional manner, and suggest improvements as needed to make best commercial purchases while meeting business needs.- Develop and execute sourcing plan and set targets in line with our strategy, targets, guidelines and policies- Develop supplier base and propose solutions to business needs in close co-operation with category managers, suppliers and business- Act as a member of local mill and maintenance management teams- As needed act as Purchaser.- Monitor market development for new opportunities, prepare purchase volume and price forecasts as required with close cooperation with category leaders and group investment.- Assess and develop supplier performance at local level in line with our Supplier Code of Conduct- Establish and maintain clear interface and support to all main contacts.

You belong to the Local Sourcing organization in Packaging Materials; supporting Fors Mill and have your home office at Fors Mill.

You will report to VP Local sourcing, MRO, Investment

Who are we looking for?

You have an academic degree or equivalent experience, 5 years working experience in sourcing and excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.

Skills we expect you to have:

Strong leadership skills. Ability to inspire, engage and motivate.
Strategic ability to develop high impact sourcing strategies.
Solid team player with ability to work independently
Solid analytical and financial skills.
Ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans (e.g., ability to execute)
Strong supplier relations skills, strong negotiating skills and thorough understanding of supplier market and key drivers.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proactive, result oriented, willing to take initiative and responsibility.
