Solar or Wind Engineer - Toulouse, France - 3E

Description

To anchor our leading market position, we are looking for an experienced Solar and/or Wind Engineer to join our French team.

You will be part of our owners engineering team, with a specific focus on guiding our clients during the tendering & contracting phase as well as construction follow-up. You will act as SPOC towards our customers and take up the end responsibility in delivering consultancy projects. Typical services in which you will be involved are:

• Managing the EPC or TSA & O&M tender preparation and following contract negotiations.
• Construction follow-up.
• Leading feasibility studies.
• Reviewing overall project design and suggesting potential improvements.

Requirements

We are looking for you if you:

• You are passionate about renewables and you have spent at least a part of your career within the renewable energy sector.
• You are independent and eager to take up new challenges and walk the extra mile.
• You like interaction with customers and bring a commercial flair.
• You bring an open and flexible mindset.
• You have very strong organisational capabilities.
• You are accurate with a strong eye for details.

You mix all of the above with healthy ambition and a team playing mindset.

Of course, there are some non-negotiables:

• You hold an engineering degree (Bac+5 or Master 2), or equivalent through experience.
• You have 3-5 years of experience in a similar environment (EPC, Turbines Manufacturer or IPP).
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Projects)
• You are willing to occasionally travel and go on site.
• You are fluent in English and French, spoken as well as written.

Bonus points for:

• AutoCad experience and Sketchup, Python coding
• PVsyst experience, WindPro exprience
• Other languages, including Spanish, Arabic,...
• Good presentation skills and ability to actively participate to discussion groups.
