We are looking for:

-
A Lubricant formulation scientist to develop water-borne specialty lubricants for wire drawing
-
Implementing, following and enforcing Environment, Health and Safety guidelines (EHS) for all activities and compliance with roles for proper housekeeping, common equipment maintenance, etc.
-
Assuring the implementation of R&I projects in alignment with global business strategy.
-
Provide a high level of customer support on commercial product range.
-
Developing new lubricants, supporting business teams & customers to maintain our leadership position.
-
Ensuring the performance in terms of innovation, scientific/technical quality, relevance, competitiveness of our technologies and/or the technical solutions proposed, while respecting deadlines.
-
Carrying out assigned projects independently and planning day-to-day activities.
-
Ensuring traceability and repeatability of the experiment results. Implement digital transformation plan.

We count on you for:

Full development & deployment of next generation of water based lubricants, free of substances of concern, improving customers productivity and final product quality

Work in a multidisciplinary team (R&D, Business, customers, industrial, product stewardship, legal ) to maintain and develop Syensqo's leadership position

Timely and accurate customer communication on performance, quality, homologation, technical support.

Participate into the sustainability transformation of transportation industry: electrification, lightweighting, low energy processes, phasing out of toxic chemicals, improved durability
-
Join a multidisciplinary team serving a dynamic and demanding market.

COntributes to Syensqo's scientific and technology leadership in a key segment.

You will bring:

-
phD in chemistry, physics, physical chemistry, chemical engineering
-
Background in lubricants and metalworking fluids is appreciated
-
3-5 years experience required
-
Strong customer focus required
