In this role, you will support the Compliance team and contribute to the WU's compliance program, the performance of WU's network compliance controls and the detection, analysis and reporting of any potential suspicious activities, following the WU policies and procedures, and within the AML/CFT framework.


Role Responsibilities

  • Participation in reviewing regulatory compliance reports.
  • Management and monitoring of compliance committees.
  • Participation in the annual update of the risk assessment, and the identification of control points.
  • Handling requests from other internal departments and providing responses when necessary.
  • Conduct legal monitoring.
  • Performing network compliance controls.
  • Participation in the detection, analysis and reporting of potential suspicious activities, following the WU policies and procedures, and within the AML/CFT framework.

Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in compliance or a similar role
  • Ideally, a degree in relevant discipline (E.g., Law, Banking, Insurance, Business)
  • Analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills.
  • Communication skills with proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
