As part of a new position creation for the French subsidiaries of the Group (22 cases to date), under the responsibility of the General Manager France, the Financial Control Manager - France will join Qair France.

The position is based in Montpellier, with occasional travel between different offices in France.

Mission


Treasury and Management Control:


  • Monitor cash flow for the French scope (forecast and budget).
  • Perform budgetary work, landing, and control their implementation.
  • Analyze and explain actual/budget deviations for Group Services at headquarters: Financial Control and Treasury.
  • Optimize structural costs and investments, analyze project profitability.
  • Provide data for headquarters' reporting work.
  • Establish and monitor indicators and dashboards in line with the company's objectives and for the needs of the General Management of Qair France.

Supervision of Accounting and Taxation:


  • Supervise the existing accounting team.
  • Control social and analytical accounts for the scope.
  • Ensure the proper completion of various tax declarations and follow up on any requests for possible exemptions and tax credits (R&D Tax Credit, Sponsorship, etc.).
  • Oversee the preparation of necessary declarations during the creation of companies and the commissioning of power plants.
  • Control tax results as well as the calculation of corporate tax.
  • Control monthly situations, annual closing work, tax returns, accounting annexes, and working papers for external auditors.
  • Ensure the compliance of regulatory documents and contracts.
  • Guarantee the legal, tax, and regulatory compliance of all processes.
  • Ensure the proper reporting of data necessary for semiannual/quarterly consolidation work in IFRS standards.
  • Various: Meet various Group deadlines (accounting, management control, consolidation, etc.).
  • Ensure the proper constitution of fund release files.
  • Be the contact person for auditors, banks, tax authorities, etc.
  • Collaborate in the deployment or evolution of the ERP Sage X3 in France (implementation of the purchasing module, etc.).
Profile

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) specializing in Accounting/Management/Audit with over 10 years of combined experience in accounting, management, and audit.
  • Good knowledge of corporate law, business law, taxation, and finance.
  • Proficient in computer tools (Office suite, especially spreadsheets and databases), knowledge of Sage X3 is a plus.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles (French standards and IFRS).
  • Rigorous, methodical, organized, and respects confidentiality.
  • Availability, adaptability, strong autonomy, versatility, and responsiveness to emergencies are essential.
  • Enjoys working in a team and has a sense of pedagogy.
  • Professional proficiency in English is necessary.
