Visageis an American startup specialised in online recruiting, with headquarters in Austin, TX and offices in Nantes, France.

Visage was founded in 2017 and has since been working with top organizations such as Siemens, Airbus, Sanofi and Google.

We are a fully distributed company with team members worldwide. You will join the Data Team located in our co-working space in Nantes, France.


Context

Since nothing particularly incentivizes our clients to manually provide us with this information on the platform, we are lacking precious data in order to estimate their return on investment (ROI) on Visage.

Mission
You will be in charge of - in collaboration with our Data Scientists - the development of this tool by following a few steps:

• Web Scraping of Google search results
• Development of a score which estimates the probability that a given profile was hired, by using NLP solutions
• Industrialisation and testing of the prototype (API)

The internship will follow the Kanban working framework.


Your Profile
You are graduating from an engineering school or an MSc in Data Science/NLP, and you know the following technologies:

• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Python and the main libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scikitlearn etc.)
• Data Models and Query Languages (SQL, PostgreSQL)

These skills are nice to have:

• Web scraping (Beautiful Soup or similar technologies)
• Fluent level of English (the team is international)
• Experience with BI tools (we use Tableau)

You are autonomous, proactive, with an ability to clarify your ideas and explain them to a non-technical audience.


Complementary Information

• The internship should last 2 to 3 months, which is appropriate for a M1 student.
• Our office is located in a coworking place in Graslin area (Le Palace "_icilundi")
• Partial remote work is possible (up to 2 days a week)
• We are flexible on the starting date of the internship
