Anaplan is seeking a determined
Principal Business Value & Strategy Consultant to join our team.

This role involves working as a key team member dedicated to crafting strategic planning visions and roadmaps with our top global customers.

The focus is on impactful customer interactions and creating the necessary resources to support customers as they advance in their connected planning journey.

The consultant will collaborate across multiple Anaplan functions, providing leadership in planning transformations for finance, supply chain, sales, and workforce planning within specific industries.

Additionally, the role includes guiding customers on best practices and capturing the value of these transformations.


Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of strategic visions and roadmaps with select customers, creating highlevel documents for executive use to drive business impact.
  • Developing insights and materials to enhance Anaplan's narratives on business transformation and its effects.
  • Creating scalable assets to improve customer engagements across Anaplan.

Your Impact
-
Research and Discovery: Conduct and facilitate both internal and external research to understand customer business processes, trends in their market/industry/function, and perform business value analyses.

Consulting and Facilitation: Lead visioning, transformation, and value assessment consulting sessions with customers. This includes facilitating and analyzing these sessions and crafting and delivering high-impact, executive-level narratives and presentations to CxOs, in collaboration with Anaplan's Sales and Presales teams.

Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with regional sales leaders to drive strategic account planning and engagements.

Team Development: Contribute to the growth and evolution of the Business Value & Strategy team's capabilities.

Influence and Delivery: Influence internal and external stakeholders to adopt a value-focused discovery process and deliver consistent, high-level business value impacts.

Asset Management: Actively contribute to the creation and management of library assets, such as value frameworks, maturity models, and other sales and value capture tools to help scale the team's influence across the organization.


Your Qualifications

Expertise: Strong understanding of Planning & Analysis in both financial and operational business processes.

Facilitation Skills: Demonstrated ability to facilitate complex problem-solving sessions with senior executives.

Influence and Insight: Skilled at providing valuable insights and influencing both internal go-to-market (GTM) teams and external customers.

Analytical Ability: Capable of driving both qualitative and quantitative analysis to support targeted opportunities.

GTM Strategy: Experience in building and continuously improving a GTM strategy practice.

Travel: Willingness to travel 50-75% for customer engagements and internal meetings.

Technical Understanding: Solid grasp of the SaaS platform delivery model.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate and present findings effectively.
