Our client a powerhouse in Oil & Gas operations are looking to add a SURF Project Engineer to work from their offices in La Defense, Paris, France.

The role will be supporting the development of 2 major offshore fields in Africa. it will be working Mon - Fri, full time in Paris. It will offer a strong day rate of pay (€) and a long term contract opportunity.


Context and Environment

Development studies for associated project are performed by the GPI, which is a multi-disciplinary and dedicated organization, acting on behalf of the Affiliate (TEPA) in accordance with HQ processes in terms of methodology and governance.


Tasks to be performed

HSE:

  • Implement HSE requirements within the area of responsibility.

Project Management:

  • Development of internal plans and procedures if needed,
  • Followup, coordination, and preparation of tender documentation,
  • Assistance in development and followup of the planning for the SURF Package,
  • Organization and participation in Project Reviews,
  • Management of interfaces with all other concerned packages,

Development studies / Architecture assistance:

  • Contribution to Project highlevel documents preparation & update (Statement of Requirement, Basis of Design),
  • Participation in followup of development studies (preliminary, conceptual, preFEED) on Project upsides,
  • Participation in Fiber-Optic cable FEED study,
  • Followup, coordination, and preparation of Fiber-Optic cable package tender documentation,

Reporting & Communication:

  • Adequate and timely reporting of ongoing activities
  • Assistance with the relations with Concessionaire / Partners and prepare and participate to Workshops & Committees with Partners and Concessionaire when required

Experience Required

  • Qualified engineering
  • Significant expertise within the Oil & Gas projects,
  • Experience in Oil & Gas development activities,
  • Excellent communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, "outofthebox" thinking, ability to
convince, transverse
coordination, organized, leadership and ability to put issues into perspective,

  • English is the main language of the service.
