2. Description of the department

AXA IM Prime is a fully integrated provider of investment solutions across private markets, including private equity, private debt, infrastructure and hedge funds.

It operates within the wider AXA Investment Management platform - sitting alongside AXA IM Core, AXA IM Alts and AXA IM Architas - and is backed by AXA Group, one of the world's pre-eminent global insurance and asset management groups.

AXA IM Prime is an advanced ESG investor that creates sustainable value by encouraging best practices in private markets.

Its goal is to promote sustainable ambition in the sector, a philosophy which is directly rooted in AXA Group's DNA to act for human progress by investing in what matters.

3. The main responsibilities of the role

The ESG Data Intern will report to the Head of ESG and Sustainability and will work in collaboration with other teams at Prime to support Prime's work on ESG data management and ESG reporting.

Your role and responsibilities will include:
ESG Data processes and management

Provide projectmanagement support to the Prime ESG data management project, which aims to develop an ESG data management strategy for Prime adapted to the private markets funds of funds business, looking for the best ways to source data and liaise with Prime's Technology team to store, aggregate and report on ESG data.
Collaborate on a daily basis with Prime Data & Quantitative teams on interface between ESG data collection processes and existing data management solutions.
Support the development of processes and internal resources to accompany Prime teams in the operationalization of the Prime ESG integration strategy.
Adhoc support and research tasks as required by the ESG Team.

4. Profile

Education/Qualifications

Currently undertaking a Master's degree in a leading Business or Engineering school with a specialization in Sustainable Finance or ESG
Previous experience in asset management is an advantage

Technical skills

Strong analytical skills and ability to manage data sets and knowledge of reporting tools used to drive decisionmaking
Proven ability to multitask and produce quality working with attention to detail within tight deadlines
A hardworking, dynamic and proactive selfstarter enjoying entrepreneurial environments that value initiative and autonomy
True team player
Fluent English speaker
Good communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential), Powerpoint and Word; other software skills are an advantage (for example, Tableau, Python, SQL)
