Financial Controller - Hybrid - France

Aspire Software is looking for an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to join our team in France

Aspire Software is hiring for a Financial Controller to join our growing finance team and play a mission-critical role in helping to shape and develop the finance function in France.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for driving all financial activities within these two subsidiary companies.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

Perform financial period close tasks and complex journal entries/accounting analysis
Perform Balance Sheet analysis and reviews, including reconciliations of accounts (including review of the reconciliations done by the junior accountants)
Preparing financial KPIs and reviewing for accuracy
Participate in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements
Prepare adhoc performance analysis and management reporting
Assist in financial integration for new acquisitions
Perform variance analysis of actual results vs. financial plans (budgets and forecasts)
Participate in special projects
Fully responsible for AR/AP/Month End

About You:

Fluent in French, both written and verbal, is essential:

CCAB-qualified accountant with at least 4+ years post qualification experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting is desirable
Perform financial period close tasks and complex journal entries/accounting analysis
Perform Balance Sheet analysis and reviews, including reconciliations of accounts (including review of the reconciliations done by the junior accountants)
Preparing financial KPIs and reviewing for accuracy
Participate in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements
Prepare adhoc performance analysis and management reporting
Assist in financial integration for new acquisitions
Perform variance analysis of actual results vs. financial plans (budgets and forecasts)
Participate in special projects
