Join our team as a Trading Application Support Analyst and unleash your potential while making a significant impact on the financial industry As a Trading Application Support Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the trading systems, providing essential technical support and maximizing our clients' trading experience.

As a member of the team, you will be supporting the global commodities in house platform, critical for front-to-back functionality including pricing, risk management, market data sharing, P&L reporting, settlements, physical scheduling, trade confirmations and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:

Proactively monitoring the systems
Configuring the system
Analyzing and resolving production support technical and functional issues
Fielding questions from all personnel including traders, marketers, risk managers, and middle office and keeping them informed of system issues and changes affecting them
Logging incidents
Advising the core development team of necessary bug fixes and enhancements
Participating in the firstline support rota, which includes an early shift for resolving overnight batch issues and an oncall system for overnight and weekend support. The rota allows those not engaging in firstline support to focus on more indepth analysis
Release management.

Qualifications
This role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills.

The analyst will engage directly with many different teams within the bank including trading, sales, middle office, back office, confirmations, market risk and accounting.

Therefore, the ability to pick up diverse product and process knowledge will be critical.
