K+K Hotel Cayré is a beautiful historic building located in heart of Saint Germain des Prés. The world-famous Eiffel Tower, Musée d'Orsay, and Louvre Museum are all within walking distance.

Our Maintenance Manager will take care of the beauty of our building and its facilities and will be playing an important part in the refurbishment process starting from July 2023 until June 2024.

We are offering an immediate start. You will be responsible to perform preventive and regular maintenance and repairs to all areas of the hotel.

You will also be in charge for maintaining a clean and organised maintenance shop for the security of hotel inventory and assets such as tool, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Key Job Responsibilities:


Responsible Business:


  • Adopt a proactive approach by carrying out a regular walk round the hotel and grounds to ensure potential problems are dealt with promptly
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all plant and equipment in the hotel and maintain these in efficient working order by following routine maintenance procedures
  • Be responsible for the Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with the schedule
  • Carry out weekly checks of all fire alarms within the hotel and act in line with standards operating procedures
  • Maintain and order parts and supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste and maintaining "green" initiatives
  • May be responsible for hotel security to minimise risk of theft, crime and other hazards
  • Have knowledge of and manager hotel security, emergency procedures, Fire Life Safety and crisis management
  • Host the monthly FLS and Crisis Management meetings and distribute the meeting minutes
  • Liaise with contractors on site to ensure that Permits to Work are completed in compliance with Company Health & Safety Procedures. Act as Clerk of Works to regulate work carried out by contractors
  • Carry out work on ad hoc projects using your skills and knowledge to ensure the most efficient and effective outcome for the hotels
  • Respond to call outs in line with rota and department standard practice
  • Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as a manager on duty

Revenue:


  • Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on energy management, preventive maintenance and capital planning
  • Lead hotel renovations and other projects, negotiate contracts and ensure timely completion of projects within budget

People:


  • Manage daytoday staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for employees. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve employee performance
  • Educate and train all employees in compliance with governmental and safety regulations. Ensure staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment to carry out job duties
  • Liaise daily with all departments and deal appropriately with any maintenance issues raised, giving priority to those issues which compromise Health & Safety procedures if any are found to be faulty

Guest Experience:


  • Understand and respond to customers' needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
  • Carryout preventive maintenance programme to ensure facility is maintained and in service for our guests (example; lighting, refrigeration, heating, airconditioning, water treatment systems)
  • Deal with complaints/problems politely and positively and make every effort to resolve them. If you cannot resolve them, refer to the Front Office Manager
