Description

Position:

His/her role is to accompany, propose and implement the retail strategy. He/she orchestrates the retail operational activation within the markets and HQ. He/she contributes to the development of the DTC network, leads project development, set Guerlain retail standards and monitor performance.


DTC NETWORK EXPANSION MANAGEMENT

  • Consolidates and challenges DTC market roadmaps (openings, closures, relocations, renovations) and participate in the construction of the Global 3YP.
  • Prevalidates with the finance team all projects and follows their validation (internal & group)
  • Follows all processes with the Archi/Merch, Education, MOP, IT and Digital teams in connection with the markets to ensure their completion.
  • Leads the cost structure of the network with the finance team and challenges the markets.

Retail Performance Management

  • Challenges and provides input to DTC budget constructs (SO, KPI's, P&L)
  • Benchmark retail results (PDM, Ranking) Follow up and analyze the retail perf indicators for main countries / regions at POS Level
  • Analyze the ROI of the retail perf tools with a qualitive and quantitative approach with all the project leader within the team.
  • Coordinate the report of the field adoption of all the tools of the retail perf and collect best practices and work with team project leaders on action plan.
  • Deliver Retail Scorecard; organize calls and seminar to accompany them to improve their performance.
  • Leads the implementation platforms for new retail concepts and store openings
  • Contributes to the business partners in building the store activation plan: product launch platforms, KCP, booster plans, instore services, etc.
  • Ensures our 360° alignment with Guerlain's Retail strategy.
  • Proposes innovations to differentiate us and generate brand preference
  • Follows up and proposes action plans on customer experience monitoring (NPS / Mystery Shopping) in collaboration with Global Education.
  • Coconstruct with Global Education all training modules related to Retail Performance Benchmark solutions and performance with other LVMH houses.

Overall Management Responsabilities


Work to enrich customer journey and work closely with Retail Marketing, Digital Teams & IT to build and implement new omnichannel services within our operations systems, formalize and communicate operational procedures in collaboration with Retail Operation Manager.


  • Depending on the projects to be studied, deployed and tested, he/she will position him/herself as a contributor, leader, initiator and coordinator on projects such as:
  • Omnichannel / Phygital
  • Clienteling and Customer Experience
  • Monitoring tool for operational execution
  • Variable compensation system
  • Drive the adoption of datadriven decision making across the retail organization, ensuring a simplicity of use and a pragmatic approach
  • Prioritize and drive the development of added functionalities, indicators and dashboards aligned with the company strategy and the omnichannel reality and ensure the accuracy of data.
  • Working in close relationship with IT, lead the development of a new Retail BI architecture and accompany market roll out and adoption. Produce all necessary material to accompany change and train the field teams.
Lead the change management.

You will be completing the strategic planning of your projects, including working with markets to define pilot and deployments plans, creating and conducting trainings to introduce these projects, and monitoring the success of your initiatives.


Profile:

Experience needed:


  • Business school degree or university degree / business management or engineering school.
  • Ideally 5 years' experience in a Retail environment and/or Consulting Agency specialized in Retail project & tools implementation.

  • Strong project management and analytical skills, ability to analyse structure and synthesize ideas
  • Strategic approach and business acumen: reflect from multiples perspectives and with diverse stakeholders (management committees, country and region directors, retail teams)
