Position Description
Are you ambitious about deepening your expertise further within cyber security? Would like to help us build a world-class Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) for Volvo Group?


Background
As part of an organization wide digital transformation, Volvo Group is investing into cyber security. Scaling up the Cyber Defense Center and SOC are some of our key security improvement activities.
We have a good team of nice people with high ambitions.

We are building a world-class SOC, and this is an opportunity for you to help us and grow with us on this journey.


We are hiring on three levels:

L1:
Junior SOC Analyst

L2:
SOC Analyst / Senior SOC Analyst


What will you do?
We will try to find the right job for the right person.

This means you will be doing what best enables you to unleash your full potential while contributing to the needs of Volvo Group.

Volvo Group SOC defends the organization from cyber-attacks.

Work in the SOC L3 can include:

  • Work as the escalation point for the most severe cyber security incidents
  • Support L2 SOC analysts in investigations
  • Training of less experienced team members
  • Threat hunting
  • Validation and development of SOC monitoring rules
  • Conducting digital forensic investigations
  • Develop incident response processes and playbooks
  • Proactively finding ways to reduce risk of a successful breach
  • Document work and report on incidents

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the cyber security domain.
  • Either:
  • Experienced incident handler able to selfdrive incident response activities, or
- forensic expert with capability to conduct technically demanding investigations.
