Your missions:

Ceva Santé Animale is looking for a NUTRITIONAL PRODUCT FORMULATION SPECIALIST for a permanent position based at our Louverné Campus (53).

The purpose of this position is as follows:

To carry out formulation activities (innovation and development) in line with current requirements in terms of scientific and technological knowledge and regulations.

Acting as a member of the project team, interacting with departments at the interfaces of his/her activity such as OTC regulatory affairs to guarantee the compliance of his/her formulations.

He/she will also be responsible for supporting subcontractors in development missions and guaranteeing the quality of the formula developed and compliance with specifications.

You will be responsible for:
Organize and carry out formulation activities, ensuring that priorities are respected, in liaison with the non-pharmaceutical development manager.
Keep abreast of the market, competitors and trends to propose innovative and sustainable products.
Propose a stable formula in its appropriate and potentially patentable primary packaging, and monitor stability studies.
Support the Project Manager in case of external development in the supervision of the CDMO.
Define manufacturing parameters and support the industrialization team during production of the first batches.
Manage laboratory equipment and propose necessary investments.
Ensures the follow-up and maintenance of quality documentation within its scope.
Preferably write test reports in English, development reports and galenic transfer reports. Manage production planning and equipment availability.

Your profile:

Level of education / training

You have an engineering degree in animal nutrition or agri-food.

Technical skills / knowhow

You have solid experience in formulating nutritional products for animals (ideally), a first You know the profile and quality of the raw materials to be used, have solid knowledge in the field of palatability and know the regulatory bases linked to your activity.

You have experience in developing extruded formulas.

You have a good command of Microsoft Office and are comfortable writing in English.

You are autonomous, reactive, rigorous, organized and have real adaptability skills,

You are a team player with excellent interpersonal and writing skills (including a critical and synthesizing mind).
